Auld Lang Syne — "Scottish drinking song" (Estonian by E. Kumar)

An Estonian-language version of Auld Lang Syne by E. Kumar, framing the song as a Scottish drinking toast to friendship.

After the song, the closing ring of a proper Scottish ceilidh runs as follows: everyone stands in a circle holding hands. First verse: hold still. Second verse: gently swing the arms. Third verse (with "And here's a hand, my trusty friend!"): cross the arms across the chest, right over left, and join with the neighbours' crossed hands. On the final line everyone moves into the centre and back out again. This closes the ceilidh.
